Welcome to Wartime Stories, where we tell the strange but true stories that emerge from war and military life. From bizarre encounters and unexplained phenomena to eerie coincidences and events that defy explanation, we explore the experiences of service members from conflicts and military installations around the world.

Wartime Stories was created and is hosted by Luke Lamana, a Marine Corps veteran who served nine years, including five deployments to Southeast Asia and service with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. Luke later joined Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC), serving with the 1st Marine Raider Support Battalion. Drawing on his own military experience and a lifelong interest in the strange and unexplained, Luke created Wartime Stories to give service members a place to share the stories that rarely make it into the history books.
